Human on the Inside with DeltaReco’s Kuldeep Chauhan
Human on the Inside. We’re big believers in the power of human skills. But don’t just take our word for it - the evidence for excellence powered by human (‘soft’) skills is everywhere! In this engaging, ever-enlightening series, we speak with industry leaders, innovators and game-changers to learn a little about their personal career journeys, and how human-led strategies, philosophies and cultures are proving a force for good in their working worlds …
Maxme: Welcome Kuldeep, and thanks for stepping into the #SuccessIsHuman Spotlight! You’re an International SEO & AEO Expert with Deltareco (a top international recruitment agency in India for overseas hiring). In 1–3 sentences, what do these roles entail?
Kuldeep Chauhan: As an International SEO & AEO Expert, my work focuses on building DeltaReco’s global digital visibility — ensuring our recruitment solutions reach employers and candidates across international markets. I specialize in optimizing our web presence through advanced SEO and AI-driven strategies that align with search intent and authority building. My goal is to make DeltaReco not just visible, but trusted across borders.
M: How does all this work speak to your personal purpose and what drives you as an individual?
KC: I’ve always believed that digital marketing is more than algorithms — it’s about connection. My purpose is to bridge opportunity gaps through online visibility. Helping companies find the right workforce, and helping professionals discover overseas careers through the power of digital communication, gives real meaning to my work. Every strategy I develop at DeltaReco contributes to connecting people and purpose.
M: Tell us a little about your personal education pathway — what led you to where you are now? How closely do your formal qualifications match your current career?
KC: I come from a science background with a foundation in physics, which taught me how to approach problems logically and analyze data deeply. While SEO and digital marketing were not part of my formal studies, that analytical mindset has been invaluable. Over time, I transitioned from understanding formulas to understanding user intent — both require curiosity and precision. My education shaped how I think; my career shaped what I create.
M: If you could share one piece of career advice to your 21-year-old self it would be ...
KC: “Trust your pace.”
When you’re starting out, it’s easy to compare your progress to others. But real growth comes when you stop racing and start refining your craft. Every step, even the uncertain ones, adds value to the person you’re becoming.
M: Can you tell us a little about the role and value of human skills in your workplace right now?
KC: Human skills are the foundation of our success at DeltaReco. In recruitment and SEO alike, empathy, communication, and active listening define how we understand clients and audiences. Behind every click or keyword is a human being. The more we understand people, the more effectively we can connect them to opportunities — that’s where human skills make the difference.
M: Self-awareness sets the foundation for all Maxme learning experiences. With that said … what’s your strongest trait or personal superpower?
KC: Adaptability.
Whether it’s a Google algorithm update or a sudden client shift, I can quickly adjust strategies without losing direction. This flexibility helps me stay calm, focused, and solution-driven, even in high-pressure moments.
M: And on the flip side, what’s one human or ‘soft’ skill you’ve had to really work on improving over the course of your career?
KC: I’ve had to consciously improve my communication style, especially in digital teams across time zones. I used to focus heavily on technical delivery, but now I prioritize clarity and collaboration. It’s not just what we deliver that matters — it’s how we deliver it together.
M: If you could share one piece of career advice with recent university graduates or candidates keen to work at a company like DeltaReco, what would it be?
KC: Be curious and stay consistent.
Digital careers and recruitment industries evolve fast, but curiosity will keep you relevant. Don’t chase trends — understand the “why” behind them. When you focus on learning and delivering value, opportunities will find you.
M: You’ve been granted approval to add one university graduate to your team, but have 100 applicants, all with outstanding academic results. How do you find your perfect candidate — what are you looking for?
KC: I’d choose the candidate who shows initiative beyond their resume. Skills can be taught, but mindset is harder to build. The ideal person is someone who’s proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions. A spark of curiosity is more powerful than a perfect score.
M: In the words of John Dewey, “education is not preparation for life, education is life itself.” What’s next on your #learning agenda?
KC: I’m currently exploring deeper integrations of AI with SEO — understanding how search experience, brand authority, and user trust evolve together. My next step is to merge technical optimization with storytelling that feels human, relevant, and authentic.
